WHAT TO EXPECT
We know that when you walk into a new church for the first time, it can be a little overwhelming. So, we hope to give you a bit of a guide, so you know what to expect.
If you walk into our 9 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. service, you’ll hear the organ and piano. We’ll sing hymns and worship with the choir.
If you come to The Crossing at 10:45 a.m., we will worship with the praise band, minister to our kids during Children’s Time, and hear the word of God. Children’s voices fill the air and we lift our voices to God.
Our nursery is available all morning, but we love to have children in service. We also stream the services in our lobby, if you’d like to keep your children close but free to roam. There are coloring books for a distraction, diapers in the bathroom, basically… just bring yourselves and we have you ready to go.
During our 9 a.m. hour we have children’s and adult Sunday school where we dive into the word of God. If we’re being honest, the kids have a little more fun than the adults, but don’t tell the adult groups… they think it’s them.
Things you can leave at the door… all your worries and cares. No one cares what you wear… Pastor Allison preaches in jeans, but we like her anyway. Pastor Trista puts on a nice outfit, and we like her too. The Holy Spirit is in this place so let him lift your burdens. How is it with your soul? Whatever the answer, we’re here to love each other in grace.
